Why a watch and not a phone app
Many check-in apps ask for a tap on a phone, and a phone is often left on a table or in a bag. A watch is on the wrist. That means Lanturne can also send you an alert when the watch stops reporting, or when it's worn and finds no pulse and no movement, even on a day when nobody taps anything.
