A medical alert without a contract

Many medical alert services want a contract, a landline, a base station in the living room, or a box shipped back if you cancel. Lanturne has none of those. It runs on a regular smartwatch, it bills month to month through Google Play, and you can stop any time.

No landline and no base station

Lanturne runs on a Wear OS smartwatch, such as a Samsung Galaxy Watch. The watch reaches our servers over the internet, in one of three ways:

There is no landline, no wall unit and nobody coming to the house to install anything. Refurbished Galaxy watches start at $89. What you need

No monitoring center

Many medical alert services send the press to a call center. Lanturne sends the alert to you, the family, on your Android phone. If you don't answer after a few minutes, your backup contact gets it too.

Your phone gets an alert when:

Every alert shows where the watch was and has a Call 911 button that opens your own phone's dialer.

If you want trained staff to answer every press, a monitored pendant is the better buy. A smartwatch or a medical alert pendant

What it is not

Lanturne is not a medical device and not an emergency service. It tells you and your backup contact what the watch noticed, so you can decide what to do.
